Techno producer and DJ Thomas Weyer, known professionally as Commander Tom, was
born on August 29, 1962, in Germany. He began his career in the 1980s at the
Trianon disco in Ötigheim, Baden-Württemberg, earning the nickname "Commander
Tom." He later moved to Roland Kopfs' Drops SuperDisco in Kehl/Goldscheuer and
the associated Radio Drops, as well as the Rheinpark disco in Germersheim. He
gained prominence for his sets of Black Music, transitioning to harder rhythms
