One of the earliest groups to emerge from the burgeoning reggaeton scene of the
late 1990s, Comando Tiburón was formed in Panama City in 1990. Comprised of
radio DJs Édgar "DJ Pozo" Flecha, Iván "Phantom" Broce, Rodolfo "Rolo" de León,
and Ariel "Magnético" de la Espada, all of whom served as disc jockeys in a
radio show titled El Show del Comando Tiburón, the group released its first
batch of singles in the mid to late '90s, some of which included "No Voy a
Llorar" (1996), "No Podrás Olvidarme" (1997), and "La Gente Quiere Guaro"
