Colm Wilkinson
Colm Wilkinson, born on June 5, 1944, in Drimnagh, Ireland, is an Irish singer
and actor known for his powerful tenor voice. He began his career playing in
local bands before gaining prominence as Judas Iscariot in the Dublin production
of Jesus Christ Superstar in 1972. Wilkinson represented Ireland in the
Eurovision Song Contest in 1978 with "Born to Sing", earning fifth place. His
breakthrough role came in 1985 when he originated the part of Jean Valjean in
Les Misérables, both on the West End and Broadway, winning multiple awards,
