French duo formed in 2006, Cocoon is made up of guitarist, composer and producer
Mark Daumail and singer/pianist Morgane Imbeaud. Singing in English in a
delicate folk-pop style, Cocoon's debut album My Friends All Died in a Plane
Crash (2007) was well received by the critics. It took less than a year for them
to become a welcome surprise on the French folk scene, on a par with the likes
of Hey Hey My My and Stuck in the Sound. In 2010, their more conceptual second
