Clinton Gregory
Clinton Gregory, born 1 March 1964 in Martinsville, is an American country and
bluegrass singer-songwriter and fiddler. He began playing the fiddle at age five
and performed at festivals by age six. At twelve, Gregory moved to Nashville,
where his father, Willie Gregory, performed on the Grand Ole Opry. After working
as a session musician for artists including Suzy Bogguss, he signed to Step One
Records in 1990. Gregory established a reputation as the first independent act
