Climax is an American band formed in 1970 in Los Angeles, California. The group
initially consisted of lead singer Sonny Geraci, composer and guitarist Walter
D. Nims, composer, singer, and keyboardist Nick D'Amico, and drummer Jon Jon
Guttman. Climax descended from the 1960s hit band The Outsiders, with former
members Geraci, Nims, and D'Amico joining new member Guttman to record and
release one single under the Outsiders name before changing their name to Climax
