Claire Rousay, born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, is an experimental musician.
Her musical journey began at age three with piano lessons from her mother.
Rousay's early interest in percussion led her to play drums during church events
before she distanced herself from Christianity and dropped out of high school at
15. Her music has been characterized by the use of field recordings to create
musique concrète pieces, often described as experimental and "emo ambient." In
