Charles Elliott "Chuck" Wicks, born on June 20, 1979, in Smyrna, Delaware, is an
American singer. Raised on a potato farm, Wicks began his music career by moving
to Nashville, Tennessee, after leaving Florida Southern College two classes
short of graduation. He honed his songwriting skills, penning over a hundred
songs annually, and one of his compositions, "Lead Me On", was recorded by Steve
Holy for the 2006 album Brand New Girlfriend. Wicks' breakthrough came in late
