R&B singer-turned-actor Christopher Williams enjoyed chart success at the turn
of the 1990s. Born Christopher Lawrence Williams in New York's Bronx district on
August 22, 1967, this singer with a powerful voice and nephew of Ella Fitzgerald
made a name for himself in 1989 with his first hit "Talk to Myself " (#4 R&B and
#49 Billboard Hot 100), from the album Adventures in Paradise (#23 soul/R&B),
