Christian Dietrich Meier Zender, born 23 June 1970 in Lima, Peru, began
performing at age twelve and entered the professional scene in 1993 with the
rock‑ska band Arena Hash. After the group dissolved, he launched his solo career
with the self‑written and produced album No Me Acuerdo Quien Fui in 1996, which
sold over twenty thousand copies and featured the hit single "Carreteras
Mojadas". In 1999 he released Primero en Mojarme, achieving more than sixty
