Christian Jacob
Christian Jacob, born May 8, 1958 in Metz, Lorraine, France, is a jazz pianist.
He was playing piano by four and discovered jazz at ten, influenced by Dave
Brubeck and Oscar Peterson. Jacob studied under Pierre Sancan at the Paris
Conservatory before attending Berklee College of Music in Boston, graduating
magna cum laude in 1985. His early career included collaborations with Gary
Burton and Maynard Ferguson. Jacob is known for his work as co-leader and
pianist with vocalist Tierney Sutton, recording eight albums together, including
