Chris Standring
Chris Standring, born on December 1, 1960, in Buckinghamshire, England, is a
jazz guitarist. He began his career as part of the band SolarSystem, which
blended elements of jazz and hip-hop. In 1998, he launched his solo career with
the album Velvet. Standring's subsequent releases include Hip Sway (2000),
co-produced with Rodney Lee, Groovalicious (2003), and Soul Express (2006). His
2010 album, Blue Bolero, featured the hit single "Bossa Blue", which topped
