Charles Christopher Sligh, also known as Chris Sligh, born on April 13, 1978, in Madison, Tennessee, was an American singer, songwriter, producer, and pastor. Raised by Baptist missionary parents Chuck and Susan Sligh, he began singing in high school after growing up with classical music. His first band, Half Past Forever, released the album Take a Chance on Something Beautiful in 2007.
