Chris Rene
Christopher "Chris" Rene, born December 25, 1982 in Santa Cruz, California, is
an American rapper and singer. His breakthrough moment came in 2011 when he
auditioned for The X Factor USA with his original composition "Young Homie".
During the competition, Rene performed several of his original songs, including
"Where Do We Go from Here". Rene finished third behind Melanie Amaro and Josh
Krajcik. Following his appearance on The X Factor, Rene signed with Syco and
Epic Records in 2012, releasing his debut EP I'm Right Here. His single "Young
