The Japanese singer ChouCho was born in Suita, Osaka Prefecture, on June 21.
Introduced to the iconic pop songs of the Beatles by her father, she grew up in
a musical household and later discovered alternative artists like Alanis
Morissette and Bjork. Inspired, she began releasing songs of her own in 2011,
scoring Top 40 hits on the Oricon charts with "Kawaru Mirai" (which was used as
the theme for the anime television show Heaven's Memo Pad) and "Authentic
