Choking Victim was an American ska punk and hardcore punk band formed in 1992 in
New York City. The ensemble, which included Scott Sturgeon, Sascha DuBrul, and
John Dolan, performed at the C-Squat on the Lower East Side and utilized Satanic
and political imagery. The group released the Crack Rock Steady Demo in 1992 and
the Crack Rock Steady EP in 1994. Following the addition of bassist Alec Baillie
and drummer Skwert, the band released the EP Squatta's Paradise in 1996. The
