Chill Rob G.
Robert Frazier, born May 15 1964 in Jersey City, New Jersey and known
professionally as Chill Rob G, is an American rapper who first appeared with the
Flavor Unit collective before signing to Wild Pitch Records in 1987. His debut
single, "Dope Rhymes", was released in 1988, followed by the album
Ride the Rhythm in 1989, which blended hardcore beats with conversational flow
and was later named by The Source as one of the 100 Greatest Rap Albums. His
song "Let the Words Flow" was illegally sampled by Snap! on "The Power". Chill
