Chevere ElNegron
Chevere ElNegron is a Uruguayan plena singer and writer from Montevideo’s barrio
Cadorna whose early recordings blended streetwise rap phrasing with the bounce
and brass-driven swing of modern plena. He first appeared on record in 2022 on
the collaboration “Caemos Pa La Disco” featuring 97Liga, Aberolau & Negrito
Pierre, then continued in 2023 through remix appearances such as “No Vengo a
Competir (Remix)” and “Tu Mirada (Remix).” In 2024, he added another feature
