Chelo
Chelo is an American singer, rapper, and choreographer born in 1986 as José
Óscar Mejías Hernández in Puerto Rico. He first performed as a guest conga
player in his father's salsa band and later served as a choreographer for Daddy
Yankee. Chelo was a member of the ensemble Jyve V and the ensemble Mexican ATM
before starting a solo career. He signed with the label Sony BMG and released
the debut studio recording 360° (2006). The recording fused hip hop, go-go, and
