Cheech & Chong
Cheech & Chong, an American comedy duo consisting of Richard "Cheech" Marin and
Thomas "Chong" Bagnal, originated in Los Angeles, California. They began their
career as a stand-up comedy act in the early 1970s. Their breakthrough came with
the release of their self-titled debut album Cheech & Chong in 1971, which
included the single "Santa Claus and His Old Lady". The duo's unique blend of
humor and music quickly gained popularity. The following years saw a series of
successful albums including Big Bambú (1972), Wedding Album (1974), and Up in
