Chavez
Chavez is an American independent rock and math rock band from New York, formed
in 1993 from the ashes of the band Wider. Led by guitarist Matt Sweeney, the
lineup also included drummer James Lo, guitarist Clay Tarver, and bassist Scott
Marshall. The group established a following in the underground music scene with
their debut single, “Repeat the Ending”. Their debut album, Gone Glimmering, was
released in 1995, followed by the EP Pentagram Ring later that year. In 1996,
