茶太 (born November 21 1979 in Japan) is a Japanese singer who emerged from the
dōjin music scene in the late 1990s, initially contributing lyrics on
Niftyserve’s forum and later providing vocals for various circles, including her
own Usagi Kinoko. Her first major breakthrough came in March 2007 with the
release of the album murmur, a collaboration with composer Yoko Shimomura, and
the single “Bravery ~tadoritsukitai kimi e~”, which served as the opening theme
for the PlayStation 2 game Growlanser VI: Precarious World. From that point, 茶太
steadily released albums such as あさやけぼーだーらい...
