Charon
Charon, a Finnish gothic metal band from Raahe, was founded in 1992 by Antti
Karihtala, Teemu Hautamäki, Pasi Sipilä, and Jasse von Hast. Initially a brutal
death metal act, Charon released three promo albums and two demos before signing
with Emanzipation Productions. Their first full-length album, Sorrowburn, was
released in 1998, followed by Tearstained in 2000. After touring with Sentenced,
the band signed to Spinefarm Records and released Downhearted in 2002, which
