Charles Loos, born July 29, 1951 in Brussels, is a Belgian jazz pianist and
composer. Loos began classical piano lessons in 1958 and later studied
composition and orchestration at the Berklee College of Music in Boston starting
in 1972. In 1973, Loos joined the group Classroom, which was renamed Cos in
1974. His contributions to the group's albums include Postaeolian Train Robbery
(1974), Babel (1978), and Swiß Chalet (1979). In 1976, Loos co-founded the group
Abraxis, which released a self-titled album in 1977. His solo career began in
