By combining the radio-friendly hooks of pop/rock with the smooth sounds of adult contemporary, Chantal Kreviazuk enjoyed success on both sides of the Canadian/American border around the turn of the 21st century. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on May 18, 1974, she made her Canadian debut with 1996's Under These Rocks and Stones.
