Čechomor is a Czech folk rock ensemble from Svitavy established in 1988. They
achieved professional recognition for a musical style characterized by rock
arrangements of traditional folk songs and for winning three Anděl Awards in
2001. The ensemble was founded under the name I. Českomoravská nezávislá hudební
společnost by the violinist Jiří Břenek, the guitarist František Černý, the
accordionist Jiří Michálek, and the violinist Antonín Svoboda. Their recording
