Cause & Effect
Cause & Effect were formed in Sacramento, California in 1990 by founding members
Rob Rowe (vocalist/guitarist) and the late Sean Rowley (vocalist/keyboardist).
The duo, inspired by the burgeoning synth-pop and new wave scenes of the 1980s,
set out to create music that combined melodic pop sensibilities with the lush,
electronic soundscapes characteristic of the genre. Their chemistry and shared
musical vision quickly led to the creation of their distinctive sound. In 1990,
