Catherine Ringer
Catherine Ringer was born in Suresnes (Hauts-de-Seine) on October 18, 1957. A
true diva of French rock, the singer—known for her versatile vocal range—brought
her own touch of madness to the duo Les Rita Mitsouko, alongside guitarist Fred
Chichin. A year after her partner’s passing (in November 2007), she revived the
band’s repertoire under her own name for a live tribute album (Chante Les Rita
Mitsouko and More at La Cigale, 2008). In 2011, the unclassifiable artist
returned to her baroque style with her first studio album Ring N'Roll. She then
