Caroline Ades Pennell, known professionally as Carol Ades, was born on December
27, 1996, in Saddle River, New Jersey. She gained recognition at age 17 when she
auditioned for the fifth season of The Voice, turning the chairs of CeeLo Green
and Blake Shelton with her blind audition singing "Anything Could Happen" by
