Carmen Rodgers
Born in Mississippi and raised in Dallas, Texas, Carmen Rodgers is an R&B and
neo-soul singer/songwriter. With a warm and smooth voice, she’s attracted the
attention of critics and fellow musicians. While she had recorded collaborations
with Darryl Reeves, The Foreign Exchance, and Zo!, she didn’t release her first
solo album until 2004’s Free. Relocating to Atlanta, Georgia, it took another
six years before she released her second album, The Bitter Suite (2010). In
2015, she released her third album, Stargazer.
