Carlos Augusto Rivera Guerra, born in Huamantla, Tlaxcala, on March 15, 1986,
first gained national attention in 2004 when he won the third generation of the
reality singing competition La Academia, which launched his professional
journey. In 2006, he released his self-titled debut album, certified gold,
followed by Mexicano in 2010—also gold-certified—that celebrated iconic Mexican
songs. His first wholly original studio album, El Hubiera No Existe, arrived in
