Canticuénticos emerged in Santa Fe, Argentina, in 2007 when educators Ruth
Hillar, Daniela Ranallo, and fellow musicians formed a collective dedicated to
children’s music rooted in Latin American folk rhythms. In 2009, they released
their debut album Canticuénticos Embrujados, which showcased playful, folkloric
originals and led to increasing visibility through live performances at schools
