Candie Payne, born Candie Payne on 19 December 1981 in Liverpool, United
Kingdom, is an English pop singer who initially pursued visual art before
turning to music. Her early career included performances with Liverpool groups
Tramp Attack and Edgar Jones & the Joneses, after which she met Simon Dine of
Noonday Underground and began writing songs. In 2006 she released the singles
"By Tomorrow" and "Take Me", which led to her debut album
I Wish I Could Have Loved You More on Deltasonic in May 2007. The single
