Known for his blend of Latin pop and traditional Colombian rhythms, Cabas is a
Colombian singer-songwriter who first gained fame in the early 2000s with his
hit song "Mi Bombón." Born Andrés Mauricio Cabas Rosales on October 7, 1976, in
Barranquilla, Colombia, he began studying piano and percussion at a young age
and later traveled to New York, where he became involved with the city's
