Butcher Brown
Founded in Richmond, Virginia in 2009 by DJ Harrison (keyboards, producer,
engineer), Corey Fonville (drums), Andrew Randazzo (bass), and a cast of
revolving musicians, Butcher Brown is an acclaimed progressive jazz funk fusion
band. Their sound – influenced by Mahavishnu Orchestra, Return to Forever and
Weather Report - blends old school jazz funk with modern hip-hop and futuristic
jazz funk. The band began composing their songs collectively through
improvisational jam sessions, eventually releasing their earliest recordings –
