Amos Easton, known professionally as Bumble Bee Slim, was born on May 7, 1905,
in Brunswick, Georgia. He was a blues musician who began his career in
Indianapolis where he met Leroy Carr. In 1931, Easton recorded his first single
for Paramount Records and subsequently released several albums including Bumble
Bee Slim Vol. 1 (1931-1934) and Bumble Bee Slim Vol. 2 (1934). His popularity
