Bullet for My Valentine
Launched in 1998 under the name Jeff Killed John, the Welsh metalcore band
Bullet for My Valentine were formed by Matthew Tuck, Nick Crandle, Michael
"Moose" Thomas, and Michael "Padge" Paget while all four musicians were college
students in Bridgend, Wales. Initially influenced by nu-metal acts like Limp
Bizkit and Korn, Jeff Killed John released a pair of independent EPs before the
band changed both its name and its approach. Now armed with a new moniker and a
more melodic sound, Bullet for My Valentine found mainstream success in 2005,
