Samuel Goldberg, known professionally as Buddy Clark, was born on July 26, 1912, in Dorchester, Massachusetts, and was an American popular singer of the Big Band era. He began his singing career in the early 1930s, making his Big Band debut with Gus Arnheim's orchestra in 1932. He gained wider recognition in 1934 when he performed with Benny Goodman on the Let's Dance radio program and later joined the cast of Your Hit Parade.
