American hard rock band Buckcherry, whose name is a nod to rock'n'roll pioneer
Chuck Berry, was born in 1995 in Anaheim, California, when singer Josh Todd and
guitarist Keith Nelson, linked by a shared passion for AC/DC, recruited bassist
Jonathan Brightman and drummer Devon Glenn. An untitled debut album (ranked #74
in the U.S.) was released in 1999, after the band signed to Dreamworks Records.
Several tracks attract attention, including "Lit Up" (#87 in the UK) and "For
