Brookes Brothers
Formed in 2002 by brothers Phil and Dan Brookes, London, England-based drum &
bass and liquid funk duo the Brookes Brothers revealed themselves to be a unique
production team, infusing their drum & bass recordings with soul and disco
influences. Their first release was “Blue Light”, a 2005 collaboration with
Danny Wheeler. Their first release on their own was the single “Someone” in
2006. That same year, they released the single “Portal” on Danny Wheeler’s W10
Records label. They continued to release a series of singles under their own
name as well as well-received collaborations...
