Andaç Berkan Akbiyik, known professionally as BRKN, was born on January 21,
1991, in Berlin. He is a German rapper and producer with Turkish, Kurdish, and
Armenian roots. BRKN began his musical journey at an early age, receiving piano
lessons at six and learning saxophone at nine. By twelve, he started rapping and
singing. After completing his architecture studies, BRKN became part of the
Kreuzberger Rapgruppe WBR Crew, which later evolved into the music label BESTE.
