Brit Taylor (born in Hindman, Kentucky) is an American country
singer-songwriter. She gained recognition for performing on local Opry stages
before relocating to Nashville in 2007 to study at Middle Tennessee State
University. Following the conclusion of a publishing contract in 2018, Taylor
established a cleaning business and performed on Broadway to fund her recording
career. She established her own label, Cut A Shine Records, and collaborated
with Dan Auerbach on songs including "Back in the Fire". Her debut studio album,
