Breathless
Breathless, an English dream pop band formed in 1983 by Dominic Appleton
(vocals, keyboards), Gary Mundy (guitar), Ari Neufeld (bass), and Tristram
Latimer Sayer (drums). Their first single "Waterland"/"Second Heaven" was
released in 1984. The band's debut album The Glass Bead Game followed in 1986,
with notable releases including Three Times and Waving (1987), Chasing Promises
(1989), and Between Happiness and Heartache (1991). Breathless is known for
their melancholic sound and theatricality, with Appleton contributing to the
