Braids
Braids, a Canadian art rock band originating from Calgary, Alberta, was formed
in 2006. The group initially consisted of Raphaelle Standell-Preston, Austin
Tufts, Taylor Smith, Katie Lee, and Vince Man, who met during high school. Their
first EP, Set Pieces, released in 2008, garnered significant attention,
including a notable mention from Stereogum. In September 2008, the band
relocated to Montreal and changed their name to Braids. Their debut album,
