Bobby Olen Pinson was born on August 10 1970 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and grew up in
Panhandle, Texas, where he began songwriting while playing high‑school football;
after serving three years in the United States Army, he moved to Nashville in
1996 and signed a publishing deal with Sony/ATV Music, where his compositions
were recorded by Blake Shelton, Marty Stuart and LeAnn Rimes. Pinson’s
