Blight
Blight was an American hardcore punk band from Lansing, Michigan. Formed in
1982, the supergroup consisted of vocalist Tesco Vee, guitarist Steve Miller,
bassist Mike Achtenberg, and drummer Pat Clark. The musicians were established
members of the groups The Meatmen and The Fix. During its career, the ensemble
performed as a support act for the band Dead Kennedys. The group released its
eponymous debut recording, the EP Blight, in 1983 through the label Touch and Go
Records. The record was issued following the group's disbandment in 1982. In
