The Canadian alt-rock band Bleeker formed in 2003, when the group's two youngest
members were just 12 years old. Featuring two sets of brothers — Taylor and Cole
Perkins, as well as Dan and Dustin Steinke — the band initially called itself
"Bleeker Ridge," a name that referred to the two streets in Orillia, Ontario,
where the Perkins and Steinke siblings grew up. The young musicians began
playing cover songs by rock & roll icons like Jimi Hendrix before moving on to
original material, which they showcased on the independently-released albums
Undertow (2004) and The Rain (2007). B...
