Blatz
Blatz was an American punk band formed in 1989 in Berkeley, California. The
group emerged from the 924 Gilman Street Project scene and included members
Robert Eggplant on guitar, Joey Perales on drums, Marshall Stax on bass, Jesse
Luscious on vocals, and Anna Joy Springer and Annie Lalania on additional
vocals. Their early releases included the EP Cheaper Than the Beer in 1990. In
1991, Blatz released their split LP with Filth, titled The Shit Split, which was
