Black Rock is a French dance music group formed in 2005 by DJs and remixers
André Schmid and Dimitri Derisiotis, who began their careers as club DJs in
Paris and later collaborated on house tracks. Their breakthrough came with the
single "Blue Water" in 2005, which entered the Top 20 on Billboard's Hot Dance
Airplay and Hot Dance Club Play charts, peaked at number 36 on the UK Singles
Chart in May 2005, and reached number 76 on the Australian ARIA Charts in
September 2005; the track also featured Debra Andrew-Cowen on vocals and was
included in the 2004 film It's All Gone Pete To...
