Bill Anschell (born 20th century) was an American jazz pianist, composer,
musical director, and author from Seattle, Washington. Anschell graduated Phi
Beta Kappa from Wesleyan University in 1982. Between 1989 and 2002, he was based
in Atlanta, serving as a coordinator for the Southern Arts Federation and
producing the radio program JazzSouth. He released his debut album, Rhythm
Changes, in 1995. The follow-up recording, A Different Note All Together (1998),
reached the top 50 for national jazz airplay and was named one of the year’s
